Doorway, Chicago
On Thursday I returned home from a week in Chicago, which was above all some much needed time spent with close friends. It was a jam packed trip filled with lots of the best kinds of conversation and laughter. It was exactly what I needed.
Unfortunately I missed several photographers I'd love to have met on this visit as I couldn't plan far enough ahead to put together a photo meet-up. However, I was lucky enough to steal a morning to hit up Walker Brothers with Bill Vaccaro, whom I originally met at Photolucida last year. It doesn't get much better than pancakes and photo nerding!
For those of you in the Bay Area, I'm heading west October 10th. I'll be in San Francisco for two weeks on business. I'm going to rally some fine upstanding people and see if I can get a photo meet-up happening around the 15th, 16th or thereabouts. If you'd like to partake, be sure to get in touch.
